Idea & Context: When Roskilde Festival ends, the field is left as one vast, trampled stretch of mud.
It takes almost an entire year for it to heal, regrow and prepare itself to become the ultimate dancefloor once again.
Year after year, it transforms.
And yet, we never really hear from it.
So instead of talking about the festival, this campaign lets the field do the talking.
The grass becomes the narrator, addressing the people who return to it every summer.
Warm, inviting and slightly playful, like it’s been waiting:
“I just turned green. Come back soon.”
The entire campaign is told from its point of view.
All visuals are shot from ground level, close to the grass, seeing the festival the way it does.
Activation: To bring the idea into the physical experience, the field becomes part of how people move through the festival.
A silicone drink lid is introduced, designed to be placed on the ground when it’s time to dance.
Stamped with the message:
“Put me down, go dance again.”
A small interaction that encourages people to let go, while subtly reinforcing the idea that the field is not just something you stand on, but something that invites you back.
